Welcome to a new year.  I am excited to be your teacher this year.  You will have two weeks from today to make a comment on this blog.  I will require this year your participation in blog posts that deal with current events.  There maybe a video, newspaper article etc., a news cast uploaded or a question to make us think about how decisions have impacts and consequences to the world.

The format will be as follows:  Your name first and initial of last name along with core number (1,2,3 or 4).
Comments will be respectful and must be justified.  If you disagree with someone, respectfully disagree and then state your case.  If you agree, you must justify your reasoning, you can't just say I agree.

You must abide by WCPSS internt policies and if you are disrespectul, etc you will be removed from the blog and reported to the administration with consequences.

Science is all around us and I want you to be aware of what we learn has consequences on the world and to you.

Looking forward to some good discussions this year.

Mrs. Smith
